Celebrate the 2nd Anniversary and Spring Event of Pop-Up Shops at Laurel Rose Co. in Carrollton

Three women, three generations and over 25 years of candle making experience. Family-owned candle shop and candle bar Laurel Rose Co. celebrates its second anniversary on Bradley Street. You can find hand-poured candles, home décor and gifts, plus hands-on candle-making experience, all at Laurel Rose Co. in Carrollton. Laurel Rose Co. is hosting its annual Spring Pop-Up Shop event on Saturday, March 12, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Karlee, one of the owners of Laurel Rose Co., describes the pop-up store in more detail. “We anticipate that our pop-up shop will take place in front of our store with every vendor outside weather permitting. Inside Laurel Rose Co. you will find our mini candle bar. It will be very different from our traditional Candle Bar, where you will learn about candle safety, the ingredients we use and why we started making candles. Our Mini Candle Bar is designed to be a much faster, do-it-yourself version of our traditional Candle Bar. We will have all your necessary equipment set up and ready for you. The only thing you will have to do is choose a fragrance, for which we will offer you five different options. One of us will be inside to help you if you have any questions. This will be open to anyone who feels comfortable with hot wax; however, we will require an adult to be present at all times for anyone under the age of 15.

Karlee announces the various vendors that will be featured at the Spring Pop-Up event. “Mcleod Family Farm grows seasonal cut flowers locally, serving the western Georgia and eastern Alabama areas. In January 2019, the farm decided to start operating its 1964 Ford “Ruby” to better serve communities. In March 2019, the weekend that began the pandemic shutdown, “Ruby” debuted ahead of Laurel Rose Co., and didn’t look back. McLeod Family Farm’s flower truck has been embraced by the community in unexpected ways. McLeod Family Farm cannot thank the community enough for all the love they have shown, and in return they hope to have brought much joy to many faces in the communities with their locally grown flowers.

Promoting the vendors and great deals that will be available at the spring pop-up event, Karlee reveals, “McLeod Family Farm will be offering a free gift to the first customers and reduced prices to the first 10 visitors. We will assemble 15 gift bags for the first 15 customers who spend $35 or more. You could find anything from melted waxes and discount cards from other companies to branded t-shirts. Hoot & Belle Soap + Bath Co. specializes in handmade soaps, body lotions and scrubs. They’ve already joined us and you all liked their products, so come check them out before they sell out. Offer from Hoot & Belle Soap + Bath Co.: Freebie for customers who spend $25 or more; buy 3 products and get a free lip balm.

“Southern Clay Collection specializes in handmade polymer clay jewelry. If you know Chloe Caldwell, you love her and all the styles she creates. The Southern Clay Collection offer: every customer who makes a purchase with her will be entered into a giveaway.

“The Vintage Pour is a mobile beverage service created out of its owners’ love of a good time and the opportunity to make someone’s special event unique. The Vintage offer For: discounted package and a limited number of free t-shirts and koozies.

“Laurel Rose Co. is always looking to bring new products and fragrances and collaborate with other small businesses. Late last year, we were looking for a way to improve our customers’ online shopping experience, so we started developing an APP. In fact, it just launched at the end of February and is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Karlee talks about Laurel’s future growth, “We just want to thank Carrollton and the surrounding communities for the overwhelming support we’ve had over the past few years. Thanks to the support we received, we were able to donate generously to some of our families and local nonprofits, for example, The Carroll County Mental Health Advocates, The Carroll County Child Advocacy Center and Sgt. Rob Holloway’s family. We hope to see you all in our Spring Pop-Up Shop. We think this will be our best yet! Pop-up shops play such an important role in starting Laurel Rose Co., and we look forward to welcoming many more in the years to come. Karlee concludes.
