Green River Glass Show and Sale scheduled for February 26 at Kent Commons

The 44th Annual Green River Glass Show and Sale will run from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 26 at Kent Commons, 525 Fourth Avenue N.

Admission is $3, with proceeds from the door benefiting local chapters of the Alzheimer’s Association, the Multiple Sclerosis Association of King County, and Northwest Kidney Centers.

Thirty exhibitors will display and sell from 200 tables displaying glass, jewelry and collectibles from the early to mid-20th century, including Depression, elegant and 50s, 60s and 70s glassware, pottery, porcelain and kitchen utensils.

The Green River Depression Era Glass Club, the Fenton Finders of Puget Sound and the Northwest Heisey Collectors Club will present special showcases for the enjoyment of spectators. There will also be door prizes.

Special guests this year will be Randy and Debbie Coe, authors of numerous books on American glassware. Randy Coe will provide complimentary glassware identification (limit of two items) to show attendees.

Roy’s Glass Repair and Eunique’s Jewelry Restoration & Repair will be available on site.

Parking is available in the Kent Commons parking lot. Additionally, there is free covered parking in the Regional Justice Center car park next to Kent Commons. The garage is accessible from Fourth Avenue and James Street.

The show will follow King County’s COVID-19 rules which are in place February 26. The show was canceled last year due to the pandemic.
