United Church Thrift Store to Hold Halloween Resale Oct. 5 – Los Alamos Reporter

On Wednesday morning, October 5, all things fall and Halloween will fill Graves Hall at the United Church, 2525 Canyon Road, awaiting shoppers for the annual Halloween resale. It’s the perfect place to get a head start on costumes, decorations, clothing, books and sundries for the fall holidays.

Parking is near the Thrift Shop, which will also be open at the same time, but please follow the signs to Graves Hall for the big Halloween sale.

The Thrift Shop is operated by the United Church’s Women’s Christian Service Society (WCSS) and is open to shoppers on Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. All proceeds from sales are donated to WCSS mission activities locally in northern New Mexico. .

Donations of gently used, clean clothing, linens, household items, jewelry, shoes, toys, and books (but not textbooks) can be dropped off at any time in the bins near the Thrift Shop door , off Canyon Road. Unfortunately, textbooks, major appliances, furniture or VHS tapes cannot be accepted.
